I hope that all you Moms out there had a wonderful Mother’s Day!
I certainly did!! I got a wonderful phone call from Chris and got to spend the day shopping with Nichole, Alexis and Kayla (I even got treated to lunch at Red Lobster *happy dance*).
And as usual, neither of my daughters listened to me. When asked what I wanted for my special day, I said “nothing“. When they wouldn’t relent, I told them a phone call is all that I wanted.
End of story.
You can about guess how far that went.

I finally get to post the rules of the house for the grandkids…
And make lots of new nummy things for them to eat when they visit!
Chris totally has me pegged with these garden stakes!
I can’t wait to see them peeking out of the vegetables that will start going into the garden today.
I love my girls so much!

Yay! Just so you know, Erik picked out the gnome for you! lol Judy only said she wanted chocolates and a card, along with no cooking/~sandyrooney~sandyrooney~sandyrooney~sandyrooneydishes, but I found this really awesome garden butterfly that was all by it’s lonesome, so I told Erik, “I have to get this…for your mom.” lol I’ll take a picture of it in her plants so you can see it. If there had been another one, I would have gotten it for you!!! (And if it would have fit in the darn box, but that would have been a great excuse to get up there to see you guys again!)
I think I have a new fondness for Gnomes 😉
They creep me the hell out, and Erik, who likes the gnomes, says when we have our own place (EVENTUALLY!), he’s gonna hide the little F***ers around our place just to screw with me! Your son-in-law is a sadist! lol 😉
