Well, lookie what I had outside my window this morning.

This little chipmunk was perched on top of the wood pile that we had dropped off the other night.

Cute little bugger.

Most people consider seeing a robin as the first sign of Spring.

For me, I’ll take this little guy as a way of telling me things are gonna start warming up.

Heck, right about now I’ll take about any little sign I can get!

  1. I think I’ll name him George ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. Better than Frido! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. I still need to upload the pictures I have of that red squirrel or chipmunk (Can’t tell if there’s a stripe or not and it’s smaller than the other squirrels)…only one I have EVER seen and she (yes, I am calling it a she) is MEAN to the other animals!

  4. Would love to see them!

  5. I thought I had more than one, but I’m uploading the one right now to Facebook! ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Little gaffer!

I haven’t seen any chippies in my neck of the woods but I have 8 ravens, 2 red squirrels that I had to inform the local “if it moves shoot it” gang, that they are my pets and you better not touch em!! 3 family’s of chickadees, nuthatches, 2 harry woodpeckers and 5 deer. Apparently there are wolves everywhere and I’ve not seen a one, ever, in the wild! Probably because I want to…..

and it is snowing big huge flakes in-between the drizzling rain…..nice! I tried to go for a walk but had to come back home as the road is slick and so I won’t tempt any hazard….because spring is here it just doesn’t know it yet……..

    Love you girls!!
